This home was undersized and lacked important amenities. An addition was designed to provide space for a new kitchen and breakfast area, a great room for entertaining, a second floor master suite and upstairs laundry. The area that held the original galley kitchen was redesigned into a convenient mudroom. We worked closely with the homeowners to seamlessly intermingle the original with the new, and delivered a completely transformed home!

The owners of this traditional 2-story farm house desired a larger space for entertaining that could double as guest quarters when needed. The entire front corner of the existing living room was removed; trusses were designed to accommodate an addition that included a great room with cathedral ceiling, a full bath and space for a Murphy bed (a wall bed that is hinged at one end to store vertically against the wall inside a cabinet when not in use). The addition created new exterior spaces that were used for spacious covered front and rear porches, ideal for entertaining!
